Mr. Zwaig is the founding member of Michael A. Zwaig, PA, which was opened in 1994.  A native of Argentina, Mr. Zwaig is fluent in Spanish and extends his services to the latino community in the Baltimore/Washington DC metropolitan area.  He is extremely dedicated to his practice and his clients.

Mr. Zwaig has more than twenty five years of experience litigating both civil and criminal cases. His current practice includes personal injury, worker’s compensation, medical malpractice, criminal defense, and immigration.  Prior to opening his practice, he gained experience as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Investigations Divison for the State of Maryland prosecuting white collar crimes. He also served as an Assistant Public Defender, representing indigent clients in cases ranging from aggravated felonies to death penalty. He also worked as a Law Clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City for the Honorable Edward J. Angeletti.  

Mr. Zwaig is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He is admitted to practice as an attorney in the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the United States District Court of Maryland.

Mr. Zwaig is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association, and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association.  In addition to practicing law, Mr. Zwaig currently serves on the Baltimore City Environmental Control Board as well as the Baltimore City Judicial Nominating Commission.

Ms. Geiser has practiced exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law since her admission to the State Bar of Illinois in 2001. She has a breadth of experience in private practice assisting clients with complex immigration issues.   Ms. Geiser advises domestic and international companies, start-up companies, institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations, and individuals and their family members on all aspects of immigration law.  Her experience includes corporate and family based immigration, nonimmigrant and immigrant waivers, asylum, removal (deportation) defense, and naturalization.  

Ms. Geiser graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2001 and the University of Cincinnati in 1998. She studied abroad in both Spain and Costa Rica.  Ms. Geiser frequently speaks on immigration law at events sponsored by professional and community based organizations, and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
